Down on the south side, in Port Jackson, the streets sit low and the wind comes straight along the Mohawk with nothing much to slow it. Winter mornings there begin in the black and end with a driveway pushed open and banked square before anyone has to lift a shovel. Brinks and Son Lawn Care/Landscape runs that plow through the storm nights and comes back in May for mowing, trimming, landscape upkeep and the spring and fall cleanups. Across the water the Gateway Overlook throws its lights out over the river, and the same lots that shed snow in January are cut in long green rows by June. One property, two very different jobs, and the same care given to each.
