About Istvan & Son Services LLC

Along the Ten Mile River the year divides cleanly in half, and Istvan & Son Services LLC works both halves of it. Green months are mowing, trimming and the long haul of keeping dooryards and field edges in order while corn comes up across the valley toward Amenia Union. Cold months are plowing, shoveling and spreading salt on those same driveways, now under a foot of it, the river steaming where it hasn't frozen over. Doing both means knowing a property twice over — where water sits in April, where drifts build in February, which turn is tight for a truck with a blade on it. There is a particular pride in pulling into the same yard in June and in January and leaving it right either way.
