Snow Hill Inc

About Snow Hill Inc

Route 244 climbs out of Alfred Station into hills that gather snow the way a bowl gathers water — the Southern Tier takes it deep and keeps it a long while. Snow Hill Inc lives on both sides of that: mowing, trimming and cleanups while the hayfields are green, then plowing and shoveling once the hollows fill. Winter mornings begin on the hill roads in the dark, opening driveways one at a time so the day can start on schedule for everyone else. Summer is the gentler half, a steady round of cutting and edging on ground that never lies flat. Same roads, same houses, two entirely different jobs.
