About Scrubs & Shrubs LLC

Tonawanda Creek begins its long westward run in this corner of Genesee County, threading farm ground and the back edges of village yards. Scrubs & Shrubs LLC works those yards around Alexander — cutting grass, shaping and tidying shrubs and borders, edging beds, and raking up the leaves when the maples along the road go copper in October. Shrub work rewards restraint: enough to give the planting its line back, never so much that it looks barbered. Set that against a lawn held at an even height and a property suddenly looks composed. Low gold autumn light across the fields is when the whole effect lands.
