About Prime Cut Lawn Care LLC

By late June the light in Adams holds until nearly nine, and the last hour of it lies flat and gold across the lawns off Church Street. Prime Cut Lawn Care LLC spends that hour the way it deserves — a straight line laid beside a straight line, the stripes bending only where the yard does. Trimming close to fence posts and porch skirting, then edging the walk until the concrete shows a clean gray seam, then blowing the clippings back off the drive. South Sandy Creek keeps this valley damp and the grass growing hard, so the schedule bends toward whatever the week's rain has decided. It is ordinary work, and a mown yard at dusk in a north country village is one of the plainest good sights there is.
