Humboldt Lawn & Maintenance

About Humboldt Lawn & Maintenance

North of town the valley opens toward the Santa Rosa Range, where flood-irrigated hay meadows turn a startling green against gray-brown hills — a running demonstration of what water can do at four thousand feet. Humboldt Lawn & Maintenance brings the same idea down to the scale of a front yard: cut it even, trim the corners a mower cannot reach, keep weeds out of the thin spots. Midday out here is bright and dry enough to make shade a currency, so cutting height comes up in the hot weeks and feeding is timed to when the grass can actually use it. Spring and fall carry the heavier jobs — aeration, overseeding bare ground, hauling off what the cold left behind. The satisfaction is uncomplicated: a clean, uniform lawn on a street where green has to be earned.
