The part of a yard nobody photographs is usually the part that decides how a house feels — the back lawn, the side run along the wall, the strip where March wind stacks the whole neighborhood's litter in one corner. Oh Crap works there. Cleanup comes first, then mowing and edging, then the trimming that makes a fence line look intentional. Weeds are pulled out of gravel and beds at the point where they start, and the debris leaves on the truck instead of waiting by the gate. A back yard cleared like that stops being storage and goes back to being a place people use.
