Silver Sage Landcare

About Silver Sage Landcare

October is when this valley smells best: rain on sagebrush, cottonwoods turning yellow around Little Washoe Lake, air cold enough that the mower leaves a visible line of steam behind it. Silver Sage Landcare spends the season on that turn — the last careful cuts, the aeration that opens tight soil before winter, the weed control and the long, methodical cleanups that clear a yard down to bare, tidy ground. Grass here grows between sagebrush and stone, so keeping it thick and green is a deliberate act rather than an accident of climate. There is real satisfaction in the evening walk-through, when the beds are clean, the edges are sharp, and the light coming off the water goes copper. A yard put to bed well in fall is a yard that comes back willing in spring.
