Edible Eden Lawn & Garden

About Edible Eden Lawn & Garden

At forty-nine hundred feet in Verdi the growing season is a narrow window, and everyone who gardens here learns to respect it — frost hangs on into late May and the first tomatoes wait for the long days. Edible Eden Lawn & Garden works inside that window: lawn mowing, edging and trimming through the warm months, plus bed care, weeding, planting and seasonal cleanups as the garden turns over. Between Crystal Peak Park and the climb into Dog Valley the ground is decomposed granite and sagebrush, so beds are built, not found. There is a real pleasure in a small green plot kept going against the Sierra front. Grass cut, beds tended, everything left in order for the next stretch of warm days.
