Rock Solid Landscape

About Rock Solid Landscape

On a May morning in Sutcliffe, white pelicans wheel high over Pyramid Lake on their way out to Anaho Island, and the lake's pale tufa towers stand up out of turquoise water. This is open, wind-scoured country on the lake's western edge, bare desert ridges on every side, and any lawn here is a deliberate act of care. Rock Solid Landscape brings lawn care to this small lakeside community: mowing, trimming and edging that help a yard hold its shape against dust and long, bright days. When the afternoon wind comes chopping across the lake, a just-mown lawn sits calm and even, a line of green ink on a page of stone. Few places make a strip of grass feel so hard-won, or so welcome.
