Ranch & Range

About Ranch & Range

Out toward Pleasant Valley and the Jiggs road the parcels get long and the wind has room to run, and an October week will brown a pasture edge before you have finished thinking about it. Ranch & Range takes Spring Creek properties at that scale — mowing acreage as readily as a front yard, trimming out around corrals, fence lines and outbuildings, then clearing the cuttings so nothing sits and smothers what is underneath. Horse country asks different questions of a mower than a subdivision does, and the answers are usually a wider pass and a closer eye on whatever is hiding in the grass. Through the season it is regular maintenance; before the ground locks up it is one hard cleanup that sets the place right for winter. Unhurried work, done under a very large Nevada sky.
