Lux's Lawn Care

About Lux's Lawn Care

In late June the light out here lasts until nearly ten, and the water at the Spring Creek Marina goes copper before the mountains finally take the sun. Lux's Lawn Care saves that long evening for the last yard of the day — mowing, edging and trimming finished while the swallows are still working the air over the water. A lawn at this elevation is a deliberate thing, a green rectangle argued out of sagebrush and wind, and keeping it even asks for a regular hand rather than a heroic one. Weekly and biweekly visits, tidy borders, the drive swept before the truck pulls away: small things that add up to a yard you are glad to turn into. Spring Creek is a large place made of many small addresses, and each one gets its own eye.
