About Abel’s Landscaping

Every Sparks afternoon has a wind in it — the Zephyr coming down off the Sierra, rattling the cottonwoods and dragging dust across the sagebrush benches. Abel's Landscaping plans the day around it: cut and edge while the air is still, then blow the walks clean going with the wind rather than against it. The work is mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, shrub shaping and spring and fall cleanups, done at a pace that keeps the lines honest. There is real satisfaction in a lawn that holds its shape between visits in a climate that would rather it didn't. Come evening, when the wind lies down and the Virginia Range turns violet, the yards along the street look intentional.
