About Moana Nursery Landscape Services

The wind has a name in Reno. Most summer afternoons the Washoe zephyr comes spilling down off the Sierra and sets the flags along Virginia Street snapping, and every lawn in the valley feels it. Moana Nursery Landscape Services provides lawn care in this city of fierce sun and cold nights, where grass has to be coaxed through a long, dry summer. September is the reward: warm days, Peavine Peak brown and quiet to the northwest, and in some years an early dusting of white up on Mount Rose while the turf below is still deep green. Regular mowing, trimming and neat edges are what let a yard ride out those swings and still look composed at the curb.
