About Mayan Lawn LLC & Landscaping

In May the roses at Idlewild open all at once and the Truckee runs loud and cold with everything the mountains have let go. Mayan Lawn LLC & Landscaping works the neighborhoods along that bend of the river, where old lawns run right up into the cottonwood shade. The season opens with a cleanup and a first cut low enough to wake the grass, then settles into weekly mowing, edging and trimming. Fertilization and weed control keep it dense through summer, and aeration opens tired soil back up to air and water. Grass by the river starts with an advantage; the work is in deserving it.
