Alien Lawn Care

About Alien Lawn Care

Minden keeps one of the darker skies left in Douglas County, and on a clear summer night the stars come down close over the sagebrush flats east of town. Alien Lawn Care works the hours on either side of that dark — the cool first light when the grass still holds its dew, and the long gold evening after the valley finally lets go of its heat. Mowing, edging, trimming, the steady week-to-week keeping of a yard: out here the work is measured in clean lines drawn across ground that stays stubborn and dry. There is a real satisfaction in green that holds at four thousand seven hundred feet, hemmed by a crisp edge where turf gives way to gravel. Wherever a Carson Valley lawn wants tending, that is where the mower starts.
