About Turner Tree Service LLC

Lund is laid out in fields and lanes across the White River Valley, a farming town where tall rows of trees stand guard against the wind for houses and haystacks alike. Turner Tree Service looks after those trees and the yards beneath them, with pruning, trimming and removal of limbs that winter storms have weakened. In early spring, before the leaves come out, the shape of every branch is plain to read, and a careful cut then means a sturdier tree when the summer winds kick up dust. Later, when the canopy fills in green over the irrigation ditches, a well-pruned tree stands balanced over its lot as if it had always grown that way. In a valley where shade and shelter are hard-won, tending trees is tending the town itself.
