About Scape Goat Lawn & Garden LLC

By October the light in Lemmon Valley goes long and gold, geese come down onto Swan Lake, and the air cools off hours before dark. Scape Goat Lawn & Garden LLC spends that season closing yards out well: the last mows of the year cut a little lower, borders redone, leaves and spent growth raked up and hauled away before the first hard freeze locks everything down. Through summer the same work runs the other direction — weekly cutting, string trimming around fences and posts, weed control in beds and gravel, feeding turf that has to survive both alkali ground and a high-desert sun. It is plain work and it shows plainly, a trimmed lawn on a windy street reading as a house someone is tending. Then winter settles over the Virginia Mountains, the yard rests, and the whole cycle begins again in April.
