The YARD Guy

About The YARD Guy

January in Laughlin is a gift. While the rest of Nevada sits under snow, the river valley stays mild and bright, and lawns down here keep going when everyone else's have gone to sleep. The YARD Guy works that stretch — mowing, edging, cutting back winter growth, hauling off debris and clearing the leaf drift that collects along block walls after a windy night out of Christmas Tree Pass. The reward is a yard that looks alive in midwinter, trimmed tight around the mailbox and the drive, the sort of thing a neighbor notices from the road. Come July the job flips to endurance — feeding, weeding, cutting high enough that the grass shades its own roots — and the same lawns hold their color straight through.
