About G A Gardening

Downstream of Davis Dam the Colorado runs cold and green past Laughlin, and the breeze that comes up the river late in the afternoon makes the best hour of the day to be out in a yard. G A Gardening keeps that hour. Mowing, edging, string trimming along block walls and walkways, weed control in the gravel margins where the desert keeps trying to come back — the list is short and it never really ends. Grass grows differently down here, hard and fast under a sun that doesn't negotiate, and keeping it even takes a return trip rather than one heroic afternoon. What gets left behind is simple: a lawn lying flat and level, borders redrawn, clippings gone, ready for whoever steps outside at dusk.
