Ruben's Lawn Service

About Ruben's Lawn Service

In June the only honest hour in Sunrise Manor is the one right after the sun clears Frenchman Mountain, when the air is still holding a little of the night. Ruben's Lawn Service is out in it — mowing while the grass is cool, edging the drive, trimming the wall line, then blowing the concrete clean before the pavement starts giving heat back. Summer in the east valley is a test of pace more than strength, and the answer is starting early and moving through. What is left behind is a yard cut even, its edges crisp, sitting tidy for the rest of a long bright day. That is a good thing to hand somebody first thing in the morning.
