Modern Landscape

About Modern Landscape

Las Vegas yards have changed along with the desert's water story: more stone, more agave, more shade trees, and turf kept where it truly earns its place. Modern Landscape works in that contemporary idiom, caring for yards where gravel beds, sculptural plants and trimmed lawn meet at clean angles. In late afternoon, when Frenchman Mountain on the valley's east edge turns rose and copper, long shadows reveal every straight line of a well-kept property. Desert design only looks simple when someone keeps it that way, raking, edging, pruning and clearing the windblown debris every gust delivers. A modern yard is less about lushness and more about precision, and precision done right is a pleasure to look at.
