About landscapers in Las Vegas

From the top of almost any east-side street at dusk, the Las Vegas valley switches on in a grid, and there is a yard inside every one of those small bright squares. This is lawn care worked across that grid: mowing on a set rhythm, edging along walks and driveways, string trimming where a mower cannot turn, shrubs cut back to a shape that holds. Weed control and fertilization carry the parts nobody notices until later, in color and thickness underfoot. Seasonal cleanups clear the summer's fallout and the winter's drift, and what is cut leaves the property. Las Vegas and the towns pressed up against it — Henderson, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Paradise.
