Not far from Sand Harbor the ground is mostly granite — pale rounded boulders with grass fitted in between them like something poured. Lake Scaping mows those in-between spaces, working the mower around stone and root and then walking back with a trimmer to catch what the deck could not reach. The result is a lawn that reads as deliberate: green meeting rock on a clean line, nothing shaggy in the corners. Water is the loudest color in this town, and a well-kept yard is the quiet one that holds up next to it. Cleanups through the season keep the needles and windfall off the turf so it stays that way.
