About Chipis Landscaping LLC

Golden Valley sits in a bowl of sage hills north of Reno with Peavine Mountain filling the western window, and the wind up here arrives daily, on schedule, with opinions. Chipis Landscaping LLC keeps lawns in that country — mowing, edging, trimming close to posts and walks, weed control, fertilizing and yard cleanups across the big open lots off the highway. Green takes real effort at five thousand feet on the dry side of the Sierra, and every kept lawn out here is a small argument with the desert that somebody is winning. A July morning is the hour for it: cool, still, the mountain sharp, the cut clean, the clippings carried off before the afternoon can blow them back. What is left afterward is a yard that looks deliberate against a hillside that never will.
