About Velasquez Landscaping

The first mow of the year is the best one. It usually lands in April, when the cottonwoods along the ditches are letting go of their catkins and the ground in Gardnerville Ranchos has finally dried enough to hold a wheel without scarring. Velasquez Landscaping opens the season right there — mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, weed control — and carries it all the way to the fall cleanup, when the same lawns are cut short and raked out for winter. Months of steady visits stand behind one green yard on a summer evening, and none of that happens by accident. Grass on the valley floor grows fast, quits fast, and never quite forgives a skipped week.
