About Weed eviction and clean up services

Fernley sits where the Truckee Canal carries river water out into sagebrush country, and anything green here is either invited or it isn't. The wind that comes down off the Virginia Range most afternoons keeps trying to plant cheatgrass and tumbleweed along every fence line, gravel bed and back alley in town — and that is the work, evicting it root and crown and hauling the piles off. Early morning is the hour for it, cool, the light coming flat across the flats toward the Pah Rah hills, the ground still soft enough to give up a taproot whole. What gets left behind is a yard that reads clean from the street: edges cut true, decomposed granite raked smooth, nothing crowding the walk or the driveway. The high desert will make its attempt again, and it will get answered again.
