The Turf Cleaning Company

About The Turf Cleaning Company

Enterprise wakes early. The wind comes down off the Spring Mountains before the sun clears the valley rim, and by the time it reaches the yards along Blue Diamond Road it has picked up half the desert and carried it onto somebody's walk. The Turf Cleaning Company works into that — mowing, edging, string trimming, and hauling off both the clippings and the blown-in litter, so a lawn reads clean all the way from the sidewalk. Weeds get treated where they root in the hardscape seams, and feed goes down on the schedule the heat out here demands. There is a particular satisfaction in one straight stripe laid across a small front lawn with those mountains standing behind it.
