About Sierra Outdoor Services

In May the Schell Creek Range still carries snow along its high shoulders while down at Comins Lake the willows have already gone bright. Sierra Outdoor Services works that turn in the year — the first mowings, string trimming, edging, and the spring cleanup that pulls a lawn up out of its long dormancy and back into color. Green-up runs fast and short in the Great Basin, and a lawn tended from the very start of it stays ahead the rest of the summer. Handing a yard back looking like the season has finally arrived is the good part of the job. Ely, Ruth, McGill and the ranching country toward Lund and Preston are the working area.
