Lamoille Lawn & Landscape

About Lamoille Lawn & Landscape

Drive Highway 227 toward Lamoille at the end of a June afternoon and the Rubies still carry snow in their high bowls while the hayfields below run green to the fence line. Lamoille Lawn & Landscape takes its name from that country and something of its pace as well, handling mowing, edging, trimming and cleanups for yards in Elko, Spring Creek and out through Lamoille Valley. Wind comes down off the canyon most evenings, so clippings are cleared and walks blown before the truck moves on. Fertilizing and weed treatment get timed to a growing season that opens late and closes early, which makes every pass count. When the final mow of the year is finished under the canyon rim, a tidy lawn out here reads like a small, deliberate answer to a very large landscape.
