Babb's Fence and Landscape

About Babb's Fence and Landscape

North of town the Adobe Range takes the first light of the day, a long band of rimrock going gray to copper while the valley below is still cool. Babb's Fence and Landscape works the hours underneath that light, mowing, trimming and edging yards across Elko while the grass still holds dew and cuts clean. In country where every green lawn is something a person decided to grow, the work stays patient: fertilizer down on time, weeds caught early, and a blade set high enough for the dry air coming off the range. There is a plain satisfaction in the last pass, when the lines run true to the property edge and the walk is blown bare. Come fall, when the cottonwoods let go all at once, the leaves get hauled off and the yard is put down for winter.
