About Capital Lawn, LLC.

Carson City keeps its oldest trees downtown, ringed around the Capitol grounds, and every October they turn the whole block gold before letting go all at once. Capital Lawn, LLC. handles the turf beneath that kind of canopy — the shaded strips, the narrow parking lawns, the deep leaf drop that will smother a lawn if it sits through November. Mowing, edging, leaf removal, fall cleanup and the last cut of the year taken low enough to carry the grass through dormancy. There is a particular pleasure in walking a lawn that was buried in leaves at eight and is clean, striped and open to the sky by noon. It's an honest morning's work in a town small enough that the whole street notices.
