About Ed's Landscape and Lawn Services LLC

October in Carson City arrives as a color change: the cottonwoods around Mills Park turn all at once, and then a night of wind puts every one of those leaves on somebody's lawn. Ed's Landscape and Lawn Services LLC mows, trims and edges through the growing season and then works through that leaf fall, clearing turf and beds so grass can breathe under the first snow. Landscape work fills the shoulder weeks — cutting back, reshaping beds, tidying the borders that summer blurred. A raked yard on a cold blue afternoon, with the Carson Range already white above it, is a thing worth standing back to look at. The mower goes quiet in December and the ground rests, which is the point of all of it.
