About Davenport Landscape & Design

Evening in Gardnerville Ranchos belongs to the water: sprinklers ticking over in sequence, the air going suddenly green with the smell of wet cut grass, swallows working the low light above the pasture edges. Davenport Landscape & Design keeps that hour honest with lawn maintenance and mowing, edging, shrub and hedge trimming, fertilizing, and irrigation checks that find a clogged head before the turf tells on it. A valley lawn is a small deliberate thing built against a dry country, and holding one green from April into October takes attention paid every single week. The pride in it is quiet and specific — a hedge line that follows the walk, a bed edge that keeps its shape, a lawn that looks intended from the mailbox. When the season closes, the yards are cut back and cleared, waiting on the next thaw.
