About Fil-Am Landscape LLC

South and west of town the Eldorado Valley opens flat to the horizon, and by two in the afternoon each July the thunderheads stack over it like something being built. Fil-Am Landscape LLC starts long before that, while the Boulder City air still holds the night's coolness: mowing, edging, trimming, and clearing away every clipping with the shadows still long. Summer out here does not reward the late riser, and the lawns show plainly which yards were tended at the right hour. Walking off a property at nine in the morning with the grass cut level and the walks blown clean is its own reward. When the monsoon rain finally comes down off the valley, those are the lawns that green up first.
