About Mojave Development

By late afternoon the light along Highway 95 turns copper, and the wind coming off Big Dune carries a fine grit that settles on every flat surface it can find. Summer evenings are when the work gets pleasant in Amargosa Valley — the heat lifts, shadows stretch east, and the mower finally sounds louder than the sun feels. Mojave Development handles lawn care out here: cutting to an even height, running the trimmer tight against fence posts and gravel edges, and clearing the debris before the wind takes it back. The satisfying part is the last pass, when the lines run true and the boundary between grass and desert looks drawn with a straightedge. Where lots are big and neighbors are far apart, that edge is what makes a yard read as cared for from the road.
