About Elk Horn Land Services LLC

Ute Park sits where US 64 follows the Cimarron River up into its canyon, a little settlement of cabins and meadows beneath slopes dark with ponderosa. Elk Horn Land Services LLC tends lawns along this stretch of canyon, where elk really do drift down at dusk to graze. Mountain grass grows in a hurry once summer takes hold, and a mower run on a regular rhythm keeps cabin yards from dissolving into the meadow around them. In early September, with the river running low and clear and the nights already cool, a mown yard by the water has the look of a place someone is watching over. Up this canyon, that kind of attention goes a long way.
