About Tierra Verde Scapes LLC

Around noon in midsummer the thunderheads begin stacking over the Sandias to the south, and the air goes heavy and sweet before a drop has fallen. Tierra Verde Scapes LLC times the day around that — lawns mowed in the morning, trimmer around gravel and stone, weeds out of the beds, clippings gathered before the wind picks up ahead of the storm. Rain turns this mesa green for a few weeks, and grass will run away from a yard that gets left alone. Keeping pace with it is mostly a matter of showing up in the right week. A freshly cut lawn with wet flagstone drying alongside it is about as good as the high desert gets.
