About WSI Southwest, Inc.

Floods carved Silver City's main street in two more than a century ago, and the Big Ditch they left behind is now a shaded ribbon of trees and footpath running below the old brick storefronts. WSI Southwest, Inc. is a lawn care provider in this town on the doorstep of the Gila, where June heat settles hard and stays until the summer rains. Regular cutting and trimming keep yards from going shaggy and brown-edged through that long dry wait. Toward evening the light turns amber on Boston Hill, the Pinos Altos Range darkens to the north, and a groomed lawn looks cool and composed against the sun-warmed ground. In a town that knows how much weather can change a place, a yard held in good shape is its own quiet comfort.
