About Evergreen Turf

August evenings in Santa Teresa belong to the storms — thunderheads stacking up over the Potrillos, the whole desert going the color of wet clay, creosote turning the air sharp and sweet. Evergreen Turf reads that calendar closely, because a monsoon week can make a lawn leap and then leave it shaggy and full of blown grit. Mowing goes in behind the rain, the trimmer follows the fence line, and the beds get cleared of everything the wind delivered overnight. By the time the sun drops behind the mesa, the yard is tidy again and the edges are crisp enough to run a finger along. It is small, steady work, repeated across Santa Teresa and out toward Chaparral and Anthony until the season turns dry again.
