About Montano & Associates, Inc

A Monday in July on the south edge of Santa Fe is a route more than a place — one property after another out where the streets end and the basin opens south toward Lamy. Montano & Associates, Inc runs that kind of list: mowing on schedule, edges trued up where turf meets concrete, string trimming into corners and around posts, shrubs kept in bounds, every clipping cleared off the hardscape before the truck moves on. Grounds visited on a rhythm never get away from you, and a lawn that is never allowed to go shaggy simply looks better all season. The work is steady rather than dramatic, which is precisely the point. By late afternoon the clouds are stacking white over the Jemez and the whole list is behind them.
