The first hard frost usually reaches Tesuque before it reaches town; that low ground north of Santa Fe holds the cold, and by sunrise the pasture grass along Bishop's Lodge Road stands stiff and white. jp landscaping & maintenace llc is out in exactly that hour for the last cuts and the fall clearing — leaves off the turf, borders trimmed back, everything squared away before the cold takes hold. The rest of the year keeps to the ordinary calendar: a thorough spring start, weekly mowing, edging that leaves a lawn looking deliberate rather than merely alive. The route takes in Santa Fe and the villages just north of it, Tesuque and Pojoaque among them. A yard put right in November is a yard that comes back easy in April.
