About A&J landscaping

Spring arrives up Gavilan Canyon in installments — a warm week, a cold snap, then the scrub oaks finally leafing out beneath the pines. A&J landscaping meets it with the year's first cut, the rake through winter litter, and the reshaping of beds that frost heaved out of line. The work carries on all summer: mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and rock refreshed, brush pulled back off fence lines. Ruidoso yards are small, steep and particular, which suits a crew that would rather do the detail than the acreage. By the time the monsoon greens everything at once, the ground is ready to show it off.
