Barajas Lawn & Maintenance

About Barajas Lawn & Maintenance

Roswell summers sit at the northern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert, and by one o'clock the shade under a mulberry is the most valuable ground on the block. Barajas Lawn & Maintenance works around that heat, starting early and moving steadily: mowing, edging, trimming the fence lines, then clearing the drives before rolling on. A lawn held at the right height shades its own roots and keeps what water it gets, so the way it is cut is part of how a yard survives July here. There is craft in knowing when to take a little off and when to take more. Come evening the grass is level enough to walk barefoot across, which is the whole reward.
