About Alex' Tree Care

Roswell winters are bright and quiet: cranes drop into Bitter Lake at dusk, the elms along the Spring River stand bare, and a tree's whole architecture is finally visible. That is the season for pruning — every crossing limb, every stub, every heavy lead plain in the cold light. Come summer those same trees are the only shade for blocks, so trimming is done with the next August already in mind. Removal is taken slow on these old residential streets, where a misjudged cut means somebody's porch roof. And when a storm crosses the Pecos Valley and leaves a yard full of wood, cleanup carries it off and puts the block back in order.
