ADLG lawns

About ADLG lawns

Sunrise over the Llano Estacado arrives all at once in Roswell — one minute the east is gray, the next the whole plain is lit and the grass is still holding its dew. ADLG lawns starts the mowing then, while the air is cool at 3,600 feet and the bermudagrass cuts clean instead of tearing. Mowing, edging and trimming fill the morning, yard after yard along quiet streets before the heat climbs over the valley. By ten the walks are cleared and the borders run straight enough to sight down. It is a small thing, a well-cut lawn in a desert town, and it is the first thing a neighbor sees.
