About Vela Landscaping LLC

February here is a straw-colored month. The blue grama is dormant, the ground is bare, the sky over Rio Rancho goes cold and glassy, and not a sprinkler is running anywhere on the block. It is also when Vela Landscaping LLC gets out ahead of the year — clearing winter debris and dead growth, pulling and treating the weeds that green up first, cutting back beds, and setting the mowing schedule for the week the grass finally turns. Catch the weeds early on this dry ground and the whole summer is an easier place to live. By the time the lawns break dormancy the edges are already defined and the soil beneath them is clean, and there is a plain satisfaction in walking off a cold property knowing precisely how good it will look in May.
