About Sandia Valley Services LLC

Ask anyone who has stood in a driveway here at sundown in June: the mountains across the valley turn the color they were named for, and for ten minutes the whole east face of town glows with it. Sandia Valley Services LLC works the hours on either side of that light — mowing, edging, string trimming, weed control and seasonal cleanups, starting early and finishing late because summer days in Rio Rancho are best taken at both ends. Up around Loma Colorado the lots are wide and the grass is hard-won, so every strip of green is somebody's deliberate choice and deserves straight lines. The mower stripes get run with the street, and the cut is held clean where turf meets gravel. That line — grass on one side, stone on the other, nothing blurred in between — is the part to be proud of.
