About Ruben's Landscaping and Firewood
Autumn comes early at Raton Pass — one cold night in September and by the weekend the whole town smells like piñon smoke. Ruben's Landscaping and Firewood is busy straight through that turn: raking and hauling leaves, taking the lawn down for the last time, cutting shrubs back, and clearing the yard so nothing sits sodden through the cold months. The rest of the year runs on a steady round of mowing, edging, trimming and bed work, plus planting and rock work when a yard needs rebuilding rather than maintaining. Ground this high asks for tough plants and honest grading, and they give it both. They put a yard to bed in fall the way you would want your own handled.
