About Abundance Gardens

Raton's growing season is short and generous — the last frost lets go late, and then June arrives and everything wants to happen at once. Abundance Gardens works with that rush: turning and weeding beds, planting, mulching, mowing and edging the lawn as it takes off, and shaping shrubs before they crowd the front walk. Up against the mesas the soil and the sun change block to block, so what goes in has to suit the actual spot rather than a catalog page. Through late summer they keep things cut and cleared while the afternoon storms build off Johnson Mesa. By first frost the yard is trimmed back, cleaned out and ready for the cold.
